# About Tellforth

Tellforth ("tell it forward") exists because the stories in every family are already there. What is usually missing is someone with the time and patience to ask, to listen, to remember every word, and to turn it into a book people will read.

## What we believe

- Every life is particular, and the particulars are what a grandchild wants.
- Talking is easier than writing, so we start with the voice.
- A good listener asks the second question.
- A pile of answers is not a book; we design the book before writing it.
- The words belong to the person who said them.
- Nobody should be rushed.
